Having previously worked with Jo Malone London brand when at Estée Lauder Companies, I went back to work brand side as their global UX /Product Design lead. On Joining the team my first task was to perform a full site audit. Their site had been redesigned a couple of years prior to this so this was a good time to review the experience, identify new opportunities and recommended any UX/Product enhancements.
I first reviewed the historical research and previous user testing that was done as part of the re-design work. Combined this with analytics and insights from the trade and product teams, then detailed each area of the site, referencing current site experience issues coupled with identified opportunities and my recommendation for improvement. The proposed solutions were completed as wireframes. We then shortlisted a list of the highest value opportunities ready for next steps to take forward to test and build.
